Today’s Nintendo Direct revealed that Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo Switch is definitely in the works. A few details we’re confirmed on the Switch version of Smash Bros. Nintendo confirmed that the game will release sometime this year (2018). A few new characters will be making their way into the next Smash iteration. The Inklings from the Splatoon series we’re confirmed in the announcement trailer. Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild can also be seen. We’ve included some screenshots of different things revealed during the Smash Bros for Nintendo Switch trailer. Unfortunately not much was revealed except the Splatoon Inklings and a tentative release date for sometime in 2018. You can see the full trailer on Nintendo’s website here.
